PROFESSOR TESTIMONIALS

OSU PROFESSOR
Feedback on a peer teaching observation
I'm not sure you realize just how great you are at teaching. You take so many things into account. Your teaching genuinely creates a sense of "safety," in that it's always clear what students are supposed to do and why they're doing it. Your teaching is always inclusive, and importantly, you do this work by calling people IN to the discussion - not by calling them out for NOT doing or saying the right things in the right ways.
OSU FIELD SUPERVISOR
Having students in Google classroom and the physical classroom at the same time seems very challenging, but you structured the lesson in a way that engaged both groups and allowed students to learn some new content and also work at their own pace to apply their knowledge.

Jeanne also reminds students that they can use an emoji over their face in Flipgrid (this shows that Jeanne recognizes some students may be uncomfortable recording themselves and showing their face).
OSU PROFESSOR
What a remarkable Linked Text Set. You’ve gone above and beyond what I expected and put together a set of texts that explores two fantastic Essential Questions. As someone who understands adolescence as a social construction, I absolutely love that you have taken these issues up, head on, to explore how the construction happens and how it is experienced by young people themselves. Fabulous work!
